You can find a second life for old magazines by donating them!
They pile up in your bedroom. There are stacks of them in your office. You keep a few in the bathroom. They fan out on your coffee table in the living room. You stuff a couple in your backpack or briefcase to read on your way to school or work. Ever wonder what to do with the piles and piles of old magazines? Don't throw them away! Please bring them to the office. I deliver magazines to the Lobbies and Chemotherapy rooms at M.D. Anderson in St. Luke’s Hospital. Donating old magazines can make interesting reading material for people waiting for doctor's appointments. Donated magazines can give friends and family members of hospital patients a few moments' respite, a chance to get their minds off weightier things. Please feel free to drop off any magazines in my office at any time throughout the year!
